[August 2007] Pulp fiction in typography by Jarratt Moody
“I made the piece for a class at Savannah College of Art and Design in Time-Based Typography I. I am majoring in Broadcast Design and Motion Graphics there. The first posting showing the piece was on motionographer.com and from there it spread to blogs all over the place. The assignment was to take an audio clip with words in it (could be a song, movie, psa), and then try to capture the intonation of the scene. I attempted to capture the scene using mostly type considering color, composition, font, proportion, and motion. That’s about it.”
